DANCING WITH MYSELF
So Hailey is out on vacation and I am solo on the morning show until Thursday morning! Uuuugh! Hard work! But I'm not one to complain. It has actually been fun hanging with the Power friends and family all by my lonesome! We had a great discussion today about the e-mail from Jessie. Apparently she kicked it with her boyfriend's best friend this past weekend and was feeling guilty about it! So she wanted to know whether to tell the boyfriend about her indiscretion or to say nothing. We had all of ONE call saying tell the boyfriend what you did! Everyone else, said...SAY NOTHING! Look, she has only been dating this guy for two weeks and as she put it, the relationship is far from official! I guess one things for sure....the relationship will soon be OFFICIALLY OVER! LOL! As for me, I gotta be honest, I would say nothing. And in the spirit of Bill Clinton....I would deny, deny, deny! That is, of course until they found a blue dress! LOL! Until next time!
WAKE UP!
Here I go again, back on the morning show and so far I love it! We had a great discussion this morning about the Presidential Election. Woo hoo! O-BA-MA! O-BA-MA! I love it! At any rate some lady called in and said the only reason why 95% of blacks voted for Barack was because he was black and that they had no idea what his position was on the issues! Amazing right? As you can imagine, the phones went nuts! Look, this is an exciting time to be in America, our country has grown above and beyond this simple kind of thinking. By the way, I am super excited that the Wichita Public Schools Bond issue passed! This is something that needed to happen and will be a great thing for years to come. Until next time, see you tomorrow morning bright and early at 6am!
A little bit of this, a little bit of that!
Can you believe that it has been a week since I posted anything? Everything is good here. I am just adjusting to the world of dating again! I have to admit it's kinda scary. I have met some cool people and Ihave also met some real head cases too! I think it's best that I stay alone for a while. I have so much going on. I am taking some classes at Wichita State, you can NEVER get too much education! I am having fun with that! I can't decide if I should set up my fish tank. I have a 55 gallon tank, and I don't know if it should be fresh water or salt water. Everything I have heard about salt water is that it is a lot of maintenance. I am not really sure if I am up to it or not! Oh well. What a life! School, fish tanks, dating, and hanging out with you guys on the air! That's the best part of my day! Until then, be good and let's talk soon!
What a weekend!
Wow! What a weekend! I went to Kansas City to visit family and friends and had a great time! On the Fourth I peeped out the World War I Museum. They call it Liberty Memorial. If you don't know, I am a history nut! The last time I went to this museum it was a dump! They have renovated it and made it just about one of the coolest museums I have ever visited. Not to mention it is the ONLY World War One Museum in the nation. Good times.

After some lunch, I set the Navigation system on my Suzuki to get me to Worlds Of Fun. This was fun, since I am a roller coaster freak! I rode the Patriot, TWICE! The Timberwolf, Boomerang, caught a dog trick show and then said I am outta here!

It was then dinner at the Skies Restaurant. very upscale! It is on top of the Crown Center Hyatt hotel. So as fireworks were blastin all over the city I was having dinner in a restaurant that rotates constantly around the skyline on Kansas City! Very Cool! The day was capped off with one HUGE party night in the Kansas City Power and Light district! If you have done this, then you already know, it is on helluva party! If not, next time you are in KC make sure you go!

On Saturday, after crawling out of bed from the huge party the night before, I trucked over to Independence to the Harry S, Truman Presidential Library. Then it was back to the hotel for a quick rest before the limo picked me up and took me to see comedian Chris Rock! The show was at the Starlight Theater and was so freakin funny i think I laughed in my sleep that night! I concluded the night with dinner at the Cheesecake Factory on the Plaza before calling it a night.

Sunday, I came home and did absolutely NOTHING!  Until next time....stay up!
