Kim Kardashian and her basketball playing husband Kris Humphries have reportedly hit a rough patch in their marriage just eight weeks after being married in a lavish ceremony. Speculation is already pointing to divorce.
Although itâs always hard to separate reality from reality show drama with Kim, at least one tabloid, Londonâs Daily Mail is reporting that the marriage is over.
Kimâs agent at William Morris Endeavor Entertainment reportedly has dropped Humphries as a client and plans to feature the couple together on a reality show are off the table.
âI donât know when theyâll announce the split or why they got married in the first place but they are done,â a source told the the tab.
âThey are divorcing. They havenât been together for a month and while Kim has been staying in New York she has been staying in a hotel room which Kris has failed to visit,â the source added. (Is the source Khloe?)
Other reports claim that Kim still has the hots for ex-boyfriend Reggie Bush.
Kimâs business commitments have reportedly torn the couple apart since the marriage. The reality star, who returned from Dubai on Sunday.
Kris didnât make the trip to the Mideast with Kim, even though heâs not playing right now because of the NBA lockout. Momager Kris Jenner, went instead.
During their most recent public appearance, however, the couple seemed to be on an even keel.
They dined with Kimâs sister Kourtney and boyfriend Scott Disick, at Hurricane Club in New York last night.
They were spotted leaving the restaurant holding hands, and both were wearing their wedding rings, according to various reports.
Kim and Kris, who married in a lavish wedding in August, although a two-hour television special featuring planning and preparation for the wedding was filled with tension.
Kris seemed like an awkward addition to the Kardashian and sister Khloe questioned his motive for marrying Kim.
Kris also doesnât seem to enjoy the intense tabloid coverage that follows Kim.

RIHANNA: I was walking out as he walked in. He was like, âYo!â I had my tea in one hand and my drink in the next.
ESQ: You drink them at the same time?
RIHANNA: One is tea and one is a shot. I usually like dark liquor â brandy or whiskey â but itâs very high in sugar-content and I have some photo shoots coming up, so I had to switch it up to vodka.
ESQ: Do you live on your bus during a tour?
RIHANNA: I hate going to hotels when Iâm on tour. I like to stay on the bus. I can sleep, I can shower, I can just pull up right to the venue everyday. I work out. I have a trainer. So, she trains me wherever, whenever. Touring messes with my metabolism, so I have to get tight.
ESQ: What do you eat on tour?
RIHANNA: Iâm very stubborn when it comes to food. I donât like to try new things. When I came to America, there were so many different cultures and tastes. I havenât acquired a taste for a lot of things. Like, calamari? Jay-Z had to make me eat it. We have this thing called Taste Test Tuesdays or New Flavor Fridays or Substitute Saturdays.
ESQ: What happens in your dressing room before a show?
RIHANNA: I eat lozenges, steam my voice, do my makeup. I Skype my vocal coach and we sit there at the makeup table and do warm-ups for about a half-hour. Then, Jen, my personal assistant slash bartender, brings me a shot that she dilutes with a little something so itâs not so harsh, like orange juice or soda water and lime.
ESQ: Why do you have the shot?
RIHANNA: I have to have it. I take it very seriously, so there is a level of anxiety, always. I overthink everything when it comes to my job. The drink calms my nerves. I sip it while I watch the opening act from my dressing room. Sometimes I go out into the audience. I put on a really big hoodie and sneak out there.
Emergency officials responded to a call about a possible prescription pill overdose when they were dispatched to Terrell Owens' LA apartment. T.O. was transported by ambulance to an L.A. hospital and cops spoke with him at the hospital.Â
Owens has been released and a rep has not yet commented on the incident.Â
Back in 2006 T.O. was hospitalized for inhaling 35 Vicodins, and although he insisted he just had a "bad reaction" many believed it was a suicide attempt.Â

Drake has been forced to scrap plans to release his new album on his birthday due to ongoing legal wrangling over samples.
The hip-hop star had wanted his latest record, Take Care, to hit shelves on October 24, the day he turns 25, but the release has been pushed back until November as he awaits clearance on samples used on several of the tracks.
He says in a statement, "I have completed 19 songs (17 on physical and 2 on bonus), and have run into a roadblock of clearing three samples in time to make the October 24th date... My options were to take the songs off and make the birthday release happen, or to take an extra couple (of) weeks to get the paper work right and give you the album they way I need you to hear it.
"The choice was clear as day for me. November 15th you will get Take Care the exact way I created it with no trimmings... I do apologise for the delay but I promise that it is only for the benefit of our experience together."

Set to embark on a tour of the United States on October 7th in Atlantic City, Adele announced on Tuesday that she was canceling all of 10 her performances due to a vocal illness.
The Grammy winner, who sold out all ten of those shows, released a statement on her website, excerpted below:

Antoine Dodson -- the guy who famously warned "They rapin' errbody out here" -- was arrested in Huntsville, AL yesterday after cops say he was BLASTING music wayyy too loud.
According to police, Dodson was stopped at 6:20 PM and issued a warning for violating the local noise ordinance -- but during the incident, cops ran his name and discovered there was a warrant out for his arrest.
Cops say Dodson failed to appear in court after he was popped for marijuana possession back in April -- so the officers arrested him on the spot and hauled the "Bed Intruder" singer to a nearby station.
According to jail records, Dodson was released after posting $516.00 bond.

Pop superstar Beyonce wants to reinvent herself as a music mogul by starting her own record label and creating a boy band.
The singer, whose husband Jay-Z co-founded Roc-A-Fella Records, wants to follow in her partner's footsteps by setting up her own music company and nurturing new talent, and among her ambitions is putting together an all-male pop group.
She tells the Associated Press, "I am starting my company, my label. I want to create a boy band. I want to continue to produce and do documentaries and music videos. I eventually want to start directing for other artists. Once I know that I have my stuff together and I trust that, I can do it for other artists.
"I see so many male artists building these empires and passing their knowledge on to other artists and development. I see myself doing the same thing and hopefully other younger artists when they grow up and they have been around for 15, 20 years, they can do the same thing."

New York-via-North Carolina rapper and MTV Push Artist of the Week J. Cole had already had his name on hip-hop fans' lips when he became the first signee to Jay-Z's fledgling Roc Nation label. While the Hov's co-sign expanded Cole's stature, the rapper had already built up his name through a series of independently released mixtapes, including 2007's "The Come Up." With next week's release of Cole's official debut, Cole World: The Sideline Story, we've got a mess of videos detailing the past, present and future of the buzzed-about rapper.
In the first video, Cole tells us how he got started in music at just 12 years old through an older cousin, but quickly realized he was better than most 18-year-olds and wanted to pursue a career in hip-hop. The rapper reveals the only reason he applied to St. John's University was to live in New York and land a record deal. We've also got videos on Cole's reaction to getting signed to Roc Nation -- "I can't even say it was a dream come true because I never thought it was possible," admits the rapper -- and a brief history of his less-than-stellar encounters as a battle rapper.

A cage fighting event which included children as young as eight has created a storm of controversy.
Footage of the bouts posted on the Internet have provoked an outcry with the British Cage Fighting Association describing parents who allow their children to take part as âmorons.â The event was staged at the Greenlands New Labour Social Club in Preston. At one point, one of the schoolboy fighters is seen to break down in tears. Lancashire police say they will now investigate whether children were put at risk by taking part in the event.
But the British Medical Association (BMA) has condemned the practice describing the Preston event as âparticularly disturbingâ as the children are not wearing headguards. It said: âBoxing and cage fighting are sometimes defended on the grounds that children learn to work through their aggression with discipline and control. âThe BMA believes there are many other sports, such as athletics, swimming, judo and football, which require discipline but do not pose the same threat of brain injury.â
The NSPCC has joined the condemnation of the fights saying that at that age childrenâs bodies are still developing physically and mentally.
But father Nick Hartley told Sky News that he was happy for his nine-year-old son Kian to take part. âItâs more wrestling than fighting⦠thereâs no punching and kicking, itâs a controlled sport. âHe (Kian) enjoys doing it, so leave him to do it.â
Michelle Anderson owns the club which staged the event. She said: âThe children were grappling. The cage fighting only comes when they get older. âWe hold boxing events here and kids fight then and nobodyâs complained about that. âItâs just the name cage fighting that people are getting annoyed at or they donât know anything about it so they criticise it because they know nothing about.â
One of the men responsible for training the children is Andy Whiteside. He said: âItâs being blown out of all proportion. â(Our gym) takes part in tournaments where itâs the exact same, it just isnât in a cage.â Despite the criticism the club says it intends to stage similar events in the future.

Heights senior Perry Ellis chose Kansas this afternoon, ending a recruiting saga that stretch over four years and included college basketball's top schools.
Ellis, a 6-foot-8 forward, made the announcement in his high school gymnasium in front of family members and the media. His oral commitment is non-binding. Ellis plans to sign a national letter of intent during the signing period Nov. 9- 16.
His choice of Kansas came as no surprise. Most recruiting analysts and fans picked the Jayhawks as the favorite for their combination of prestige and location. His commitment to KU makes the Jayhawks the big winner in the City League's recent talent surge. North guard Conner Frankamp, a junior, orally committed to Kansas in July.
Ellis is No. 24 in the Rivals.com rankings for the class of 2012 and No. 37 in ESPNU's national list. And the saga continues. Last night G-Unit mogul 50 Cent phoned in to New York City's Hot 97 radio station giving a first hand account of this past weekend's incident involving rapper Fabolous and singer Ray J who got into a minor scuffle. The two artists have been a heavy topic of discussion after reports of an altercation between the men occurred in Las Vegas at the Palms hotel. In separate radio interviews Ray J followed by Fab recounted how the situation went down with each story fairing completely different than the other. On one end Ray J claims he socked Fab backstage after confronting the rapper about some previous jokes while Fab has maintained he was never touched. 50, a bystander throughout the entire event set the record straight on the incident.
50 Cent and boxer Floyd Mayweather took their celebratory spirit to the Palms to support rappers Jadakiss and Stlyes P who were sharing a bill with Fabolous at the luxurious casino. Fif and Floyd sectioned off a few balcony areas of the hotel inviting friends to hang out and enjoy the show. Following the LOX set, Fif and Floyd made a beeline backstage of the venue to chop it up with the Yonkers boys. According to 50, after a few words with Jada and SP, Fab appeared in the same corridor with Ray J close by when the singer immediately approached the Brooklyn rapper.
"Ray J taps Fab on the shoulders and says 'I told you my peoples wasn't going to be happy about that' " 50 said of Ray J. "And Fab is looking at him like hes crazy cause he looking at me, 'cause Fab was saying wassup to me. He said 'Whoa, you lost your mind?' " 50 recalled Fab warning Ray J after the singer began to get testy, touching the rapper.
Sharing similarities with Fabolous' story, 50 Cent also confirmed the MC was never harmed.
"If he would have got punched in the face, Flex, Fab wouldn't have went onstage with no glasses" 50 recalled. When asked if Fabolous was punched, 50 bluntly responded "Nah he didn't. If he got punched in the face it ain't enough to call it a fight ... Ray J did swing at him but it didn't connect."
"It was no fight, it was no swing" Fab confessed to DJ Clue the previous night. "This whole story that he made up, that Tupac rant about him swinging on somebody and all of that s--t is all lies. Its all, high on coke, on that Whitney. That's all on that Whitney last night. Ain't no swings take place. You can ask the Money Team. The Money Team was standing right there. Ask the Money Team that hes probably the water boy for" Fab joked referring to 50 and Floyd.
Following the brief encounter 50 says he personally separated Fab and his brother Paul Cain from persuing Ray J's taunts. Video footage released after the situation shows Ray J being escorted out of the Palms by Las Vegas police. Unlike Fabolous and Ray J, things were rosey this weekend for 50 Cent after his good friend Mayweather knocked out opponent Victor Ortiz in the fourth round of the title fight. Showing his gratitude towards 50, the boxer gave the bulky rapper a $20,000 Hublot watch after the fight.

The lyrics of Lil Wayne's ballad "How to Love" are probably best described as romantically tragic, but after Weezy premiered the video online Wednesday, the song took on a more dire meaning.
The Chris Robinson-directed clip tells the story of an abused mother, who unintentionally leads her daughter to relive her own vicious cycle. "I have a daughter, Wayne has a daughter, and he really wanted to tell the story," Robinson told MTV News. "We were talking about statistics of abuse in our community. We were talking about really telling this story for every young woman in the world."
The video follows the life of a mother, who is beaten by her boyfriend while her baby daughter watches. As the little girl grows older, she visits her father in prison, and then as a preteen, she is molested by one of her mother's lovers. We got a thumbs up for season four, but we havenât started with contracts and stuff for the new season just yet. So all of it is up in the air right now. We know who solidly is coming back. It is definitely a concern. Itâs something that, even with the production company and the network I have voiced my opinion about. But then too, you have us get together and we know how to act; we do philanthropy in the community and things like that. I think it needs to be a balance. I think both things need to be shown.

Two years after pleading guilty to assaulting his then-girlfriend Rihanna, Chris Brown is to star in a romantic comedy. The R&B singer has been cast in Think Like a Man, a film adaptation of a self-help book by comedian Steve Harvey.
The original title of Harvey's book was Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man: What Men Really Think About Love, Relationships, Intimacy and Commitment. Published in 2009, it briefly bumped Twilight author Stephenie Meyer from the top of the US bestseller list. While Harvey's tome is non-fiction, the movie version will transform his advice into a quirky love story starring Brown and actor Gabrielle Union.

Rihanna has more than said her piece about how her 2009 assault at the hands of ex-boyfriend Chris Brown has affected her. But in the new video for her single, "Man Down," the singer is depicted shooting an unarmed man in the head in cold blood at a train station in what viewers later learn is retaliation for a previous sexual assault.
The Parents Television Council, the Enough Is Enough campaign and the entertainment think tank Industry Ears released a statement on Wednesday condemning the video for what the group said was an apparent enticement to young women to turn to violence.
" 'Man Down' is an inexcusable, shock-only, shoot-and-kill theme song," said Industry Ears co-founder Paul Porter, a former programming director at BET.

K: So when did that relationship turn into incest?
AR: [Laughs] I chilled with him for two weeks. We didnât kiss or nothing. Then he left for Pittsburgh and when he left I was so lost without him. He has to come back, I just miss him, and I donât look at him like a little brother.
K: Why is that?
AR: Heâs just so positive. Heâs one of those people that in any situation he can always see the brighter side to something. And he always has a smile on his face, heâs never in a bad mood, heâs super talented and smart, heâs a boss. Just being around him I realized heâs not no little boy like I thought he was. Heâs a grown man about his business. His music alone, heâs not in the same circle as those other dudes, heâs on some other s--t. So when he left we just talked on the phone constantly and thatâs when we realized we were really falling for each other. And I was like when this young boy gets back from Pittsburgh; he is definitely getting someâ¦definitely [laughs].
K: Points awarded for honesty. Does it make sense to ask who made the first move?
AR: [Laughs] Ah s--t, it was mutual. It was that energy and that feeling, we really fell for each other really hard really fast.
K: Whatâs the difference between this relationship with Wiz and your last with Kanye?
AR: The thing of it isâ¦how can I say this without sounding crazy or mean? Iâm sorry.

AR: Thereâs no comparison in personalities. You know when people say how do you go from Kanye to Wiz Khalifa, thatâs a downgrade. But the only question I can ask them is: have you ever dated Kanye? Because I have, and believe me, I did not downgrade at all. Not in any aspect, at all.

"Blast," the controversial alcoholic beverage from Pabst Brewing Co. and promoted by hip hop star Snoop Dogg, is facing some heavy fire.
The drink, a 23 oz. fruity concoction with 12 percent alcohol by volume (over three times the alcoholic content of beer), has already drawn the ire of watchdog groups and some politicians for targeting children with its marketing. Now, in the most powerful condemnation of Blast, a strongly worded letter signed by 17 state attorneys general urges Pabst to "end production and sale" of the drink.
Spearheaded by Maryland Attorney General Douglas Gansler, the letter describes the sugary drinks as a "binge-in-a-can" and is co-signed by attorneys general from California, Illinois, Arizona, Ohio, Washington and 11 other states.
The drink is sold in colorful cans and comes in flavors like strawberry-lemonade and grape. Defending Snoop's promotion of Blast, which includes a YouTube video, ads and posters, Darren Metropoulos, co-owner of Pabst, previously called the drink "a part of [Snoop's] lifestyle."
Responding to the letter, Pabst's head of marketing, Jon Sayer, told CNN, "Blast is only meant to be consumed by those above legal drinking age. As with all Pabst products, our marketing efforts for Blast are focused on conveying the message of drinking responsibly."
Snoop has yet to respond to the controversy.

The rapper, also known as Radric Davis, was visiting his probation officer at the Georgia Department of Corrections Probation Office in Atlanta when he was arrested, Atlanta police Sgt. Adrion Bell said in a news release. He was on probation for previous unrelated charges.
Bell said DeKalb Fugitive Squad members arrested Davis on a warrant which said he intentionally pushed a woman out of a moving vehicle. Davis was charged with battery and violating his probation.
 Davis was being held at the DeKalb County Jail.

According to TMZ, the future Mrs. Ochocinco is giving show producers an ultimatum: Either pay her $20,000 an episode ⦠or she's out.
It was last reported that Lozada threatened to leave the show. Sheâd become upset when she believed the producers of the show leaked sensitive information about her to another cast member in hopes of inciting a violent confrontation between the two women.
Sources close to the production tell the tabloid website that Lozada and the other girls currently pull in around $7,500 an episodeâwhich means Lozada's latest demand would mean a serious raise.

A legislative bill that takes aim at sagging clothes was passed by members of the Florida House of Representatives' K-20 Education Innovation Subcommittee yesterday (March 15th).
The bill was introduced by Rep. Hazelle Rogers (D-Lauderhill, Florida) and passed unanimously by the subcommittee, reports The St. Petersburg Times.
"This pro-family, pro-education, pro-jobs bill provides each school district ... adopt a student dress code of conduct, a policy that explains to each student their responsibility," Rep. Rogers said. "This would make for a better school district and more productive students."
The bill doesn't mention sagging pants, but its clear by the verbiage, which prohibits students from wearing clothing that "exposes the underwear or body parts in an indecent or vulgar manner."
Although no one has positively identified where the trend of sagging pants started, the new legislation claims that the practice of sagging pants originated in the prison system, "where belts are not issued because they may be used to commit suicide or used as weapons."
Students face a variety of disciplinary actions if their style of dress is deemed "vulgar" to school officials.
They can be issued verbal warnings, banishment from extracurricular activities and even in-school suspensions.
The local branch of the NAACP in Florida has condemned the bill, claiming that black youth will be targeted.

North Carolina rapper Petey Pablo is facing jail time this summer, after pleading guilty to possession of a stolen firearm yesterday afternoon (March 16th).
Petey Pablo was arrested on September 11th at the Raleigh-Durham International Airport, as he attempted to board a flight to the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards.
The rapper was taken into custody after police found a 9mm handgun, along with live ammunition, in his carry-on luggage.
To make matters worse, the gun was later found to be stolen and Petey is a convicted felon, which means he cannot possess firearms.
The rapper claims that he forgot the firearm was in his bag, after it was taken from a distressed friend who was threatening to use the weapon.
Petey Pablo is best known for his hit singles "Freek-a-Leek," "Raise Up" and "Goodies" featuring Ciara.
The rapper, born Moses Barrett III, faces 10 years in prison if he is convicted.

A Harris County, Texas man has filed a lawsuit against rapper Slim Thug, who is accused of assaulting the man during a business meeting.
Clarence Evans filed the lawsuit against Slim Thug and Raymond Thomas II on March 18th, in the District Court of Harris County, Texas.
According to the lawsuit, Plaintiff Clarence Evans attended a meeting at a residence in Harris County with Slim Thug and several associates.
Evans claims that he was "suddenly and without warning" attacked by Slim Thug, who allegedly struck Evans in the face with the end of a pistol.
The lawsuit claims that Slim Thug ordered his associates to attack Evans and rob him of his money.
"Defendants participated in the attack and directed the other attendees of the business meeting to attack Plaintiff and steal any money Plaintiff had in his pockets at the time," the lawsuit claims.
Evans is seeking an disclosed amount for a variety of charges.
Evans is suing Slim Thug and his associate Raymond Thomas for medical, hospital and pharmaceutical charges, lost wages, pain and suffering, mental anguish, physical disability and disfigurement.

Young Money's Lil Wayne will reportedly premiere a music video for his "6 Foot 7 Foot" Carter IV lead single this week.
On Thursday at 8 p.m. ET MTV and MTV.com will air "MTV First: Lil Wayne", a video-premiere event during which fans can see out the debut of the "6 Foot 7 Foot" clip, as well as go behind-the-scenes of the Hype Williams-directed visual, which was shot in Miami and features upstart lyricist Cory Gunz, who will be featured in the upcoming MTV docu-series "Son of a Gun". Immediately following the premiere, Wayne will also sit down with MTV News' Sway for his first live interview since he was released from prison last year.
The rapper also reportedly recruited his Young Money family for cameos.

History was made last night on FOX when Super Bowl XLV became the most-watched U.S. television program ever, and FOX became the first network ever to exceed 100 million viewers (100.9 million) for a night in prime time, according to fast-national ratings released today by Nielsen Media Research. The game, the outcome of which was in doubt until the final seconds, saw the Green Bay Packers defeat the Pittsburgh Steelers 31-25 to capture the franchiseâs fourth Super Bowl Championship.
FOX Sportsâ broadcast of Super Bowl XLV averaged 111 million viewers and is the most-watched television program in U.S. history, obliterating the prior record of 106.5 set last year during Super Bowl XLIV by 4.5 million viewers and the 106.0 million for the series finale of M*A*S*H, which held the viewership record from 1983 to 2010.
This is the fourth consecutive Super Bowl to set a viewership record, and attracted 13.5 million more viewers than FOXâs last Super Bowl broadcast in 2008 (97.5 million) for the New York Giants upset of the undefeated New England Patriots. No other major sporting event has ever hit a record high in four consecutive years. This also marks the sixth straight year that Super Bowl viewership has increased, and over that span average Super Bowl viewership has increased from 86.1 million in 2005 to 111.0 million, a gain of nearly 25 million viewers.
The game posted a 46.0/69 household rating/share tying Super Bowl XXX in 1996 (Dallas-Pittsburgh) as the highest-rated since Super Bowl XX in 1986 (48.3/70, Chicago vs. New England). Only eight of the 45 Super Bowls played had a higher rating, and all were played in a nine-year span between 1978 and 1986.
Super Bowl XLV also set a new mark for total viewership of any program in U.S. history (persons age 2+ watching all or part of the game) with 162.9 million people watching, 9.5 more than the record set a year ago (153.4 million).
Half-hour ratings and average viewership (in millions) for the game are as follows: 41.4/97.2 (6:34-7:00 PM ET); 44.3/106.8 (7:00-7:30); 45.9/111.7 (7:30-8:00); 44.7/110.2 (8:00-8:30); 46.8/114.9 (8:30-9:00); 48.4/116.8 (9:00-9:30); 49.2/117.2 (9:30-10:00); 47.1/111.5 (10:00-10:13 PM ET).
The Super Bowl XLV PRE-GAME SHOW averaged an 11.5/23 from 2:00 PM ET to kickoff at 6:34 PM ET, a +16% gain over last yearâs 9.9/19, with 22.2 million viewers, and is the highest-rated, most-watched Super Bowl pre-game show in nine years (12.9, 23.3 million on FOX). FOXâs Super Bowl XLV POST-GAME SHOW earned a 28.4/46 (66.0 mill.), down -14% compared to a year ago (33.0/51) on CBS, but up +11% over 2009â²s 25.7/42 on NBC.
Following the post-game, a special airing of Glee averaged a series-best 13.6/25 (26.8 mill.) among all Households and 11.1 among Adults 18-49, and is the highest-rated scripted program on television in three years among Adults 18-49.
The airing of Super Bowl XLV goes down as FOXâs most-watched night of prime time ever, as well as FOXâs highest-rated night ever among Adults 18-49. Itâs also the most-watched night on any network in at least 20 years, and the highest-rated night on any network among Adults 18-49 in 15 years (dating to the night of Super Bowl XXX on NBC). The record-smashing performance of the Super Bowl vaults FOX into first place in the Adults 18-49 ratings race for the first time this season. FOX projects to average a 3.4/9 for the season among Adults 18-49 through last nightâs game, surpassing second-best CBS (3.0).
The Super Bowl HALFTIME SHOW, featuring the Black Eyed Peas posted a 44.7/68 from 8:00 PM ET-8:30 PM ET, only -3% lower than the entire game. Thatâs a slightly better audience retention than was delivered by recent halftimes featuring The Who in 2010 (-4%), Bruce Springsteen in 2009 (-5%) and Tom Petty in 2008 (-6%). It is the highest-rated half-time since Michael Jackson performed in 1993 (45.5).
Ratings in the participating markets, the host city, and other major markets were the highest in many years. Both Pittsburgh (59.7/87) and Milwaukee (59.7/85) tied for the second-highest single-market rating in Super Bowl history. The rating trails only Chicagoâs 63.0 rating in Super Bowl XX. Dallas, the host city, posted a 53.7/80, third-highest rating ever for a Super Bowl host city whose local team was not participating. Only Jacksonvilleâs 58.9 (â05) and San Diegoâs 53.9 (â03) were higher for a host city.  Dallas contributed over 700,000 more homes than Miami did a year ago. New York, the nationâs no. 1 TV market, delivered a 42.6/63, the best rating in Gotham for a non-Giants Super Bowl in 28 years. Los Angeles notched a 40.1/71, its best in 13 years for a non-Rams or Raiders Super Bowl. Chicago posted a 51.4/73, which beat the rating for the Bears in Super Bowl XLI (50.2) and is the markets best-ever for a non-Bears Super Bowl.

Rihanna has never shied away from being sexy in her videos, but it seems she's gone too far for some with her colorful video and lyrics for "S&M." Not only has the video been deemed "inappropriate for some users" by YouTube, where viewers must verify they are 18 or older before watching it, but a handful of radio stations are also reacting to the song's racy lyrics.
In the video â while singing lyrics like "Sex in the air/ I don't care/ I love the smell of it/ Sticks and stones may break my bones/ But chains and whips excite me" â she dances around in latex, poking fun at the ball-gag-wearing media. The clip includes whips, a dog-leashed Perez Hilton and Rihanna being handled by the press.

According to the U.K.'s Daily Mirror, 11 countries have already banned the video from airplay, and BBC 1 Radio won't play the track before 7 p.m. A rep for the radio station said they are considering airplay for the Loud track: "We are waiting for an edited version before deciding whether it will be played in the daytime."
As for rumors that MTV was looking to re-edit the clip, reps for the network told MTV News that the Melina Matsoukas-directed video was approved as is.
The singer herself is responding to the reaction and YouTube's decision to include a parental warning on the video, tweeting, "U can now view the S&M video on Rihannanow.com UNFLAGGED!!!" Also tweeting, "They watched Umbrella ... I was full nude."

Drake is continuing on his European tour with J.Cole and while in London this weekend, sat down with famed radio host Tim Westwood.
Drizzy spoke to Westwood about a number of topics including a collaboration album with Lil Wayne that has yet to surface.

Gucci Mane seems set on giving 2011 a frigid start, and it has nothing to do with the weather or the ice around his neck.
The rapper joined the ranks of fellow wordsmiths Lil' Wayne and Game on Wednesday when he added a face tattoo to his collection of ink.
The 'Lemonade' rapper visited Tenth Street Tattoo near Atlanta, Ga, where tattoo artist Shane Willoughby added a three-scoop ice cream cone to Mane's right cheek. In case you're not familiar with the temperature of ice cream, the word "Brr" sits at the top of the waffle cone, and two red lightning bolts run through the tattoo.
Jason Murray, an employee at a nearby piercing shop, captured Gucci Mane's newest addition and posted it on Twitter, captioning the photo "GUCCI!!!"
The tattoo is a bold move for Mane, who was recently committed into a mental health treatment facility. The rapper's mental condition was evaluated after filing a "Special Plea of Mental Incompetency" in a Georgia courtroom early this year, claiming that he was unable to "intelligently participate in [his] probation revocation hearing."
Despite his troubles, Mane is said to be working on his fourth studio album, 'The State vs. Radric Davis 2: The Verdict,' which is scheduled for release later this year.

The word comes fresh out of Verizonâs press conference in New York City, where the company has confirmed that they plan to offer the iPhone 4 early next month.
From what we know so far, the Verizon iPhone 4 appears to be identical to the AT&T iPhone 4 (save for the obvious radio chip differences). FaceTime support, 5 megapixel camera on the back, App Store, Retina Display, etc. More details as they come in.

Based on reports, West promised the joint album would reach completion in days.

According to TMZ.com, Waka Flocka Flame's Georgia home was raided this morning (Dec. 16) and apparently rapper Gucci Mane was cuffed in relation to a prostitution operation.
 The site reports that cops are investigating possible prostitution as well as evidence of gangs and drugs, although it was not confirmed with law enforcement in Hery County.
Waka Flocka's momager, Debra Antney, told TMZ that her son wasn't there but that if he doesn't show up soon, cops will issue an arrest warrant.

Producer Bangladesh has discussed his processes taken get the beat that eventually became Lil Wayne's new Carter IV lead single, "6'7", launched into the hip-hop spotlight.
According to Bang, he feels the track most closely resembles his 2008 produced Wayne smash, "A Milli".
"It's kind of similar [to how we worked together for 'A Milli']," Bangladesh said in an interview. "I had 'A Milli', knowing that the actual track was actually important. I had opportunities to sell it, but until I got it to Wayne at that time, who I wanted to get it to, I couldn't sell it to anybody else. This time, I knew this beat was great like that, too. And I hadn't really thought of sending it to him. I sent it to [Atlantic Records executive] Gee Roberson, and he works closely with Wayne and played it for him. That's how it happened, really." (MTV)

Southern rapper Mario "Yo Gotti" Mims reportedly turned himself over to authorities last night (December 13) after a warrant for his arrest was issued in late November.
Mario Mims, 29, also known as Yo Gotti, turned himself in to authorities at about 5:30 p.m. Monday. Police also issued an arrest warrant for Lance N. Taylor, 24, also known as OG Boo Dirty. Police are charging Mims and nine other men with aggravated riot, a felony charge that can carry a penalty of one to six years behind bars, according to the Shelby County District Attorney's Office. Investigators are charging Taylor with inciting to riot as well as aggravated riot. (The Commercial Appeal)
Rappers Yo Gotti and OG Boo Dirty are among 11 people wanted in connection with a fight that happened outside the Level II nightclub on Nov. 29. A police affidavit states that Lance Taylor, a.k.a. OG Boo Dirty, and Mario Mims, a.k.a. Yo Gotti, "were involved in a verbal altercation." A third man got involved, and Boo Dirty allegedly punched him. A fight ensued, resulting in six people shot. Three were struck in the buttocks, one in the wrist and one in the shoulder, according to the affidavit. The sixth victim was an off-duty security guard, who was standing about 40 yards from the melee. Neither Yo Gotti nor OG Boo Dirty is in custody, as of Saturday night.

According to Young Money CEO Mack Maine, Wayne's first single will drop later this month.
Wayne is set to release the first single from his forthcoming Tha Carter IV LP by the end of December, simply titled "6'7"." "We definitely dropping it before the end of the year," Mack revealed to MTV News. "We ready to go now; we getting it mixed." Eminemearned the most Grammy nods in categories including "Best Rap Collaboration" and "Best Rap Song."

The Kardashians have cancelled an agreement with a credit card company which supplied pre-paid cards under the Kardashian name stamped the Kardashian Kard. After an Attorney General of Connecticut launched an investigation due to numerous complaints from parents that the Kardashianâs didnât reveal it included a number of fees, the family has cut all ties with the card.
The Kardashian Prepaid MasterCard was meant to allow parents to give their teen or child a small amount of credit so they can keep track of their finances, but what parents werenât told is that there were costs to own the card. According to the official website which is no longer available, the card had a one-time purchase amount of $9.95 and had two different payment options, a 6-Month Program for $59.95 or a 12-Month Program at the cost of $99.95 instead of paying monthly fees right off. Both came with a $1.50 cost to withdraw money from the ATM. After the program expired, there would be a monthly fee of $7.95. To deposit money, there was a 2.5% fee tapped on to the deposit amount. The credit card FAQâs said that the Mastercard also came FDIC insured up to $250,000.
According to the Attorney General, the Kard violates the consumer protection laws.
As for the Kardashians, they are trying to maintain their positive image especially with young adults and so they terminated the agreement because it would have caused them more harm than good.

His estimated total per show of $155,000 per show, currently makes him among the highest-paid acts in all of Hip Hop that are CURRENTLY touring. However, Drake's dominance in Hip-Hop is nowhere as dominating to the Country and Pop scene. Young Money rapper Lil Wayne was reportedly shut out of a Las Vegas party last weekend just days after he was released from jail.
According to reports, Wayne was not allowed to enter a Vegas hotel.
Weezy was unable to get into a party at the Wynn Las Vegas during his visit last Saturday (November 6) because the hotel was nervous about what repercussions they would possibly face if the rap superstar--whose probation prohibits him from drinking liquor for three years--was found consuming alcohol. According to reports, a rep from the Wynn told a member of the Young Money crew that if the New Orleans MC entered the property, he would be asked to leave. Weezyâs just been freed, but Wiz was thrown in the dock on Monday. âBlack and Yellowâ MC Wiz Khalifa is no longer roaminâ free. Khalifa was arrested on Monday night in Greenville, North Carolina, after alleged wafts of marijuana smoke were detected. Authorities say they were able to detect the marijuana smoke from Khalifaâs tour bus.
Khalifa was arrested after a performance at East Carolina University, where he was paid $10,000 for a standing-room-only performance. He was stopped on his way out by campus police. They stopped him because they smelt a strong odor of marijuana radiating both from backstage and Khalifasâ tour bus. Khalifa is very open about his marijuana use, and so cooperated with the officers in their search of his tour bus. Nine members of his entourage were also arrested along with the alleged seizure of more than 60 grams of marijuana.
The 22 year old rapper, born Cameron Jibril Thomaz, was booked into jail at around 1:30 a.m. at the Pitt County Detention Center. His bail was posted $300,000 which he subsequently paid, resulting in his release at around 11 a.m. PST. His felony counts include marijuana trafficking, maintaining a place for sale/storage of marijuana, and a misdemeanor for possession of drug paraphernalia.
Khalifa, who has his own brand of rolling papers, and spends about $10,000 a month on weed, is likely to agree to counts of possession of marijuana for personal use. This would cut the usual 12 months time, and utilize a plea deal. Ironically enough, Khalifa was appearing on the Carolina campus as part of his Waken Baken Tour 2010.
Khalifa utilizes Ustream in which heâs generally using or surrounded by his drug of choice along with twitter, where he tweeted the release of his crew. His numerous fans have been active in online forums discussing his arrest along with his chart-climbing song, âBlack and Yellowâ.â

Proving she is serious about having another blockbuster album, Rihanna announced yesterday that she will now be managed by Jay-Z's Roc Nation company. Chess move. Why? Because Rihanna's ensuring that since the company is now investing in her, they have reason to keep her relevant and continue to land her endorsement deals even with the come-up of Roc Nation's Willow Smith.
Now we're not saying Willow's going to just come in and steal all of Rih's spotlight and audience in one swoop or anytime soon. Just saying--a certain age group has a certain buying power (look at the young Disney and Nick kids). In an interview with the Associated Press, Rih said she's "so excited to take this next step in [her] career."

Rapper T.I. reportedly helped convince a man from attempting a suicide jump off an Atlanta building Wednesday afternoon.
Initial reports suggested the incident took place around late afternoon.
T.I. saves the day. Or at least the possible Midtown jumper's life. Atlanta Police tell CL the rap star visited the scene of today's incident and told officers he wanted to speak with the unidentified man who around 4 p.m. had threatened to jump from the 22-story Colony Square Building. Investigators sent in a hostage negotiator to help talk the man down. Atlanta police said T.I., whose real name is Clifford Harris was in the area and stopped by the scene to see if he could help. Police took a message from T.I. to the man on the roof, saying the rapper was downstairs and wanted to talk to him. Grammy-winning rapper T.I.'s Los Angeles arrest last week may have severed ties with body spray company AXE and placed a dent in future endorsements.
According to a representative from AXE, the company is skeptical about its future with the rapper.
T.I.'s ecstasy arrest has caused a serious stink with some of his sponsors -- in fact, TMZ has learned the people behind AXE body spray are considering kicking the rapper to the curb. A rep for AXE tells TMZ they're "troubled by [T.I.'s] arrest" and have been forced into "reviewing our promotional activities" with the rapper. Translation -- it doesn't look good for T.I. Rapper T.I. and his wife Tameka "Tiny" Cottle were arrested in Los Angeles on Wednesday night for alleged possession of a controlled substance.
According to an arrest report on the incident from the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, during the course of a traffic stop involving Tip (born Clifford Harris Jr.), 29, and Cottle, 36, on Sunset Boulevard in West Hollywood at 10:30 p.m., "deputies smelled a strong odor of marijuana emitting from the vehicle."
A narcotics investigation followed and both Tiny and T.I. were "found to be in possession of a controlled substance." At press time, there was no information on which drug the possession charge covered.
TMZ reported that the recently married couple were traveling in a Maybach when they were stopped by deputies.
Both T.I. and Tiny were booked at the West Hollywood sheriff's station on charges of felony possession of a controlled substance, and bail was set at $10,000 each. Deputy Jeff Gordon confirmed on Thursday morning (September 2) that both had posted bail around 4 a.m. PT and were due back in court on the charges on September 3. A spokesperson for T.I.'s label could not be reached for comment early Thursday morning.
Tip, who celebrated the #1 debut of his film "Takers" last weekend, is on federal probation following a seven-month prison term he completed in March on weapons charges. At press time, Gordon said considering T.I. was allowed to post bail on the drug charge, it did not appear that the rapper's probation from the federal charge would be impacted by Wednesday night's arrest.
After being publicly praised by Lil Wayne in a recent interview, Midwest emcee Tech N9ne has revealed that a collaboration with the incarcerated rapper is already in the works. Â

According to hiphopwired.com, Lil Boosie appeared in court today for his initial hearing regarding his first-degree murder charges. Lasting roughly 2 minutes, the Baton Rouge, Louisiana MC plead not guilty as his lawyer Marcus Allen reiterated to local television news WAFB, "He's not guilty. I think he's absolutely not guilty. I think he meant what he said. He's absolutely not guilty. We're just going to prepare for his defense and get ready to address the charges." With the murder case pending as well as drug charges, District Attorney Hillar Moore stated, "I'd rather wait for the evidence to speak as to what happened. He's got several different cases, so it depends on which one you're talking about. He also has the introduction of the drugs into the prison and obviously, he's presumed innocent at this point." As previously reported, the 27-year-old rapper and two men, Michael Louding and Adrian Pittman, who were also charged with first degree murder, fired shots into Terry Boyd's home killing him and allegedly were in possession of ecstasy, codeine and marijuana. Kanye West continues to inch his way back into the spotlight with a performance at the 2010 BET Awards.
The performance will be Westâs first major performance at an awards show, since his infamous appearance alongside Taylor Swift, at the 2009 MTV VMAâs.
âWhile West received much backlash and criticism following the VMAs, BET decided to give the multifaceted performer a spot in music history during its 10 year anniversary special,â BET said in a statement.

Atlanta rapper Gucci Mane has officially parted ways with his former management company Mizay Entertainment and booking agency Hitt Afta Hitt Enterprises.
Mizay Entertainment is helmed by Debra Antney, while promoter Johnnie Cabbell is the owner of Hitt After Hitt Enterprises.
Both companies and their respective owners are named in several federal lawsuits, claiming they booked Gucci Mane in several cities throughout the country, without disclosing that the rapper was heading to jail.
Gucci missed a string of dates over the past year, resulting in lawsuits against Mizay and Hitt After Hitt for failing to return hundreds-of-thousands of dollars in advanced payments.
Gucci has closed down his So Icey Entertainment imprint and is now the President and CEO of 1017 Brick Squad Records Inc.
The artists on the new label are Wacka Flocka Flame, OJ Da Juiceman, Bricksquad (Wacka, OJ and Gucci) and Gucci Mane himself.
"The rest of 2010 is going to be real major," Gucci Mane told AllHipHop.com in a statement today (May 4th). âI'm taking control of all of my business properties and keeping the focus on my career, my music and my artists. Grammy-winning rapper Kanye West will reportedly be releasing his Good A** Job album this summer. Based on new reports, the follow-up to 2008's 808's & Heartbreakis coming out in June. Kanye West is ensconced in his Diamond Head, Hawaii home and recording studio, putting the final touches on his forthcoming album with guest rappers like Q-Tip, RZA and Pete Rock, numerous reports have confirmed. Grammy-winning rapper T.I. is reportedly going to be released from halfway house confinement today, however, he will still be under a supervised watch for about a month. Â
According to reports, the rapper will also have to complete community service.
T.I.'s attorney, Steve Sadow, tells TMZ the rapper -- who's been serving the last 30 days of his sentence under house arrest -- will officially be done today. T.I. will now be placed under 23 days of supervised release ... which means he'll have to be home by 11 PM unless he's performing, when he'll have to be in by 1 AM. The rapper -- real name Clifford Harris -- will also have to complete 400 hours of community service and will be on probation for three years.

Incarcerated rapper Gucci Mane has updated fans on his status and said he is anxious for his release. According to Gucci, he has been writing new material since beginning his term last winter.
"Unfortunately I've been to jail a couple times. Anytime I come in it's difficult to make music, write songs. This time, I have a peace within me. I've been so excited to get out. The arrested reportedly took place Tuesday (March 16) afternoon.
The rapper Waka Flocka Flame is being held in the Houston County Jail on a probation violation. Jail officials confirmed that Waka Flocka Flame, whose real name is Juaquin James Malphurs, was arrested by the Houston County Sheriff's Office and is being held on a probation violation. He was taken into custody on Tuesday. The nature of the probation violation was unknown Wednesday.

Barring any colossally unforeseen circumstances (or eight more root canals), Lil Wayne will be formally sentenced and finally turn himself in to begin his one-year prison sentence in New York today.
He'll be housed with inmates who are classified in his category, and he'll be able to be a regular inmate," the guard said. "He'll be able to watch television, go into the day room and congregate with people of his classification.
"He'll have no preferable treatment at all. He'll be treated like a regular inmate," the guard, who declined to be identified due to the classified information he discussed, added.

Fresh off the release of his third solo album, Shock Value II, producer Timbaland is changing his tune... or rather the genre of music he'll continue to make.
In a recent interview with MTV, the super-producer is saying that he's done with making hip-hop music, explaining that the record-buying core watches Desperate Housewives.
"I was done with hip-hop a long time ago," Timbaland explained. "Once my generation left, I left. I do it, but there's nobody from my generation besides Jay who's doing it. I look at Lil Wayne as being from my generation. Some people are still acceptable. Kanye is acceptable from my generation.
"After my last album, I know where my bread and butter is at," he continued. "I know 75 percent [of the people who buy my album] are women who love Timbaland and most are the women who watch Desperate Housewives and all those others. I did this research. It's the women who watch Sex and the City, Desperate Housewives--all the real go-to-the-bar women like Timbaland, and mostly European women. It lets me know that my fanbase is mostly women and they are from all cultures. So it's not a person who loves mostly hip-hop. It's a person who loves everything besides hip-hop."
It seems he's already begun the transition too. On Shock Value II, he moved toward a more pop-sounding album, enlisting pop stars such as Justin Timberlake, Katy Perry, Nelly Furtado, and Miley Cyrus, rather than huge hip-hop stars.
Timbo tells MTV he's tired of the politics of the music biz and has become less concerned over album sales. In fact, he may give away the next installment of Shock Value for free.
"If this album does as semi-well as the last one, I'm done," Timbaland said. "I'm not going through the stress no more. I will do it for my fans and give it away for free."
