The University of Kansas School of Medicine-Wichita is a medical school without walls, borders, or limits, but with a strong foundation and solid core. We are a community based medical school, so rather than having a narrowly based realm of activities within a university hospital, our clinical base is within the community.
The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the University of Kansas School of Medicine is a multidisciplinary team of professionals who are dedicated to improving the lives of the people in Wichita, Kansas, the United States, and the world. Our presence in our community is extensive, and while we are dispersed throughout the State, our mission and guiding values are clear and well defined: In partnership with Kansas communities, we educate students, residents, and physicians through clinical care, patient centered research, community service, and other scholarly activities to improve the health of Kansans.
Your non-profit group or organization can become the Power 93.9 Charity of the month. To become the Charity Of The Month we ask that you provide us the following things.
Your group/organization must be a non-profit organization
- Please provide your request in writing at least 21 days in advance of the month you would like to be the Charity Of The Month or your organization letterhead. You can either mail your request to Power 93.9 Charity Of The Month, 2120 N. Woodlawn, Suite 352, Wichita, KS, 67208. Or you can e-mail your request to gwilliams@entercom.com. Request generally are scheduled on a first come first serve basis.
- When making your request, please provide us with some information about your organization and make you’re case why you should be Charity Of The Month. If you have an event or activity planned then be sure to include this information.
- If you are selected as a Charity Of The Month, there is no cost to you or your organization. It’s FREE!
- If your group or organization is chosen, we ask that you provide us with a thank you letter and re-cap so we can place this in our public service files as a record of our support of your group/event.
- Making a request does not guarantee your selection.
