KENNY "KENNY MAK HOBO" POLITE

Kenny Polite Jr. was born in Wichita, Kansas on October 28, 1979.  By the age of four, he was playing City League basketball.  His father left soon after.  He became a knucklehead, getting kicked out of class and school by First and Second Grades. 

Growing up in a God-fearing home, he was still seeing family stumble with drugs, drug money, women, and anger problems.  He became violent, fighting all the time, in and out of school.  He started getting involved in gangs and drugs.  Smoking weed, he would compose short stories, novels, poems, and eventually raps, for which he has a true passion.  He and his young cousin "Skavi Leech" (Brandon Polite) began rapping together at the ages of seven and ten and have been rapping hard ever since. 

After getting shot in early 1999, he says he has, "...calmed down a lot and really started to focus on music."  These boys have been doing their research for a while.

BRANDON "SKAVI LEECH" POLITE

Brandon Polite was born in 1982 in Wichita , Kansas and is one of the Midwest 's hottest up and coming artists.  Growing up on the north side of Wichita as well as living in varied cities such as Atlanta and Milwaukee (where he says he walks the turf with the best of them). 

He became accustomed to moving around but also taking advantage of being exposed to different hoods and lifestyles.  Brandon (AKA "Skavi Leech") says that he feels blessed to have the opportunity to move around because coming from a small town like Wichita, many of his peers never got that opportunity and ended up becoming victims of the streets. 

Although Skavi grew up with a father who was a Morehouse Graduate, the path and life Skavi chose was a different one; a young life of truancy, drugs, and "...hangin' with real niggas."   He developed a natural talent to write rhymes and soon realized he had what it takes to be a heavyweight in the Rap Industry. 

Skavi says he has been trying to get onto the scene since the days of 'Biggie' and 'Tupac' and is not like most of the rappers who have just started.  He says that, "...rap has become a Trend instead of an Art."  But together with his closest cousin Kenny Mak Hobo, they plan to take it there.

Bear Wit It Records was founded in Wichita , Kansas in 1999 by Kenny (Kenny Mak Hobo) Polite and Brandon (Skavi Leech) Polite.  These two real life relatives started off with a dream and it slowly but surely became a reality. 

The self-proclaimed "Kings of the Midwest " entered the game at an early age but say they were not really ready then, but now in 2005, Bear Wit It Records is official and it won't be long before Bear Wit It Records is the most respected and established record label in the Midwest. 

These two plan on doing for the Midwest what Russell Simmons, Master P, and Suge Knight did for their parts of the country and say they feel that being from the state in the center of the map, it's only right that they make it happen.
