Title: Dead Bodiez - Shawty
Dead Bodiez roots began in East Texas . His music and lyrics are focused on an Under-ground theme with a Southern-Country- Crunk Midwest flavor. Growing up Dead Bodiez was vastly influenced by such artists as Geto Boys, 2 Pac, and K-Rino. These influential artists gave inspiration for the intense lyrics heard in Dead Bodiez work.
His talent for mixing and producing music made its first break when he dropped his first album “ Third World,” in 1999. In 2005, the album “Texas Hold Em,” dropped. This album was aimed at representing Dead Bodiez hometown—Lufkin Texas.
In 2006 the compilation “Ghetto Inmates” dropped in Gary Indiana. This collaboration featured many Chicago and Indiana artists such as RicJilla, Tex and Nicky Skarfo, RocBoi, Tension, Father Tyme, and Grind Family. “Ghetto Inmates,” was Dead Bodiez big break selling more than 10,000 CD’s underground. Now currently located in Wichita, Ks, Dead Bodiez has teamed up with the Power 93.9 radio staion, which has realeased his new single "Het lil Shawty."
“Take a Trip Wit Me EP” has also released in da streets , with the help of the label Graveyard Records. This featuring the hit singles “ Hey lil’ Shawty”, and “Shining” has sent a major buzz across the midwest region, Giving the listeners a down-south club feel.
Upcoming material includes Dead Bodiez most recent work in “3rd Coast Born.” Dead Bodiez also collaborates and helps mix and master with artists such as Ebonee, Al Koleon, RicJilla, Don Richie, Hit, and Yung Platt. Dead bodiez strives to give his music a powerful industry sound to underground music.
